Increasing Cognition Through Drawing

A non-pharmaceutical approach to increasing cognition

OUR CONCEPT:
Exercise the
Brain through
Art

A non pharmaceutical approach to mental wellness using art

The idea behind Silver Smartz is to focus on maintaining wellness and brain function and activity. These programs also give the added benefit of keeping the body in good physical shape as the mind controls the parts of the body. In fact, several programs are designed for hand/eye coordination, memory, and cognitive development.

At this time, pharmaceutical companies are attempting to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease which is caused by plaque buildup.

Over a dozen peer reviewed studies by Neuroscientists have shown that art stimulates the brain in the hippocampus region, which maintains long term memory. Music is also very effective in maintaining memories.
